On some rainy days in November, my habby and I visited Ravenna. On the way to Ravenna, we've droped by some towns.
This is Piazza Duomo in Montagnana.
The town is very small. It's famous for the medieval walls surrounding the entire of town. The view of the wall is shown in the photo (back left, shot inside of the town). We visited on a cold rainy day and it was lunch time. I was a bit scared by its atmosphere like a ghost town. It must be different if I visit there on a better day, better hours!)
An old cinema is remained in silence....
One of the gate, which is a part of the wall, has 5 layers. Still there was a sagging gate hung on the wall like they did in the middle age. If it falls down?? What happened to someone walking through the gate?
Of course, it won't happen.
My impression to the town sounds a bit bad. But it's a historical town and it must be more beautiful on a sunny day.
