Bikkur-Italia 10-Sep

I saw an old man in white smoking in front of a pharmacy. Probably he is a pharmacist.
My partner told me, "He is the major of this city."

Huh? A pharmacist is the major? Why not in the city hall?

Major doesn't need to be in the city hall everyday, maybe...

Bikkur-Italia

Bikkuri + Italia

Sushi!

A new Japanese restaurant has been opened in the town where I live. (Actually they opened it some months ago.)
Their Sushi was a-little-bit-over-hand-shaped, I mean a little bit hard. But yummy! I think it's better for people who are not used to use chopsticks to grab sushi easily.

Now I realized that always the photo by my mobile is a bit bluish. :(

A seasonal fruit, grape

The season for the grape has come!
This country is famous for producing wine. Surprisingly, we can have fresh grapes in our garden! Every year, the wife of our landload bakes this cake, Bertolina. A lot of sweet-sour juicy grapes in a simple cake. We see this cake in every pastry shop in this season.
The green one is my mug. You see how big the cake is!

-Pear or apple?

My dear friends in Japan, look at this photo.
What do you think? Is it a pear or an apple?
Even with the "Glow" effect of the photo, its texture of skin, its color, its shape.... looks like a Japanese pear, huh? The size is,,, a third of JP big one.
But I couldn't stop thinking of the juicy taste of JP pear even I knew the answer that it's NOT a pear! Yes, I knew it was impossible to see Japanese pear here....but just I wanted to try it.

So, what's the result?
It's definitely an apple, especially sour and bitter one. aw..

They were cut and put straight to a pan with the brown sugar, cinnamon powder and some pieces of cloves. Yes, I enjoy the homemade jelly instead of my home taste.
